The Search- Another Adventure with David

We were attempting to find a rumored petroglyph but no luck this time. This area had a fire rage through a few years ago and the descent into the canyon was denuded of trees for the most part. We hiked in and out and over the incredible numbers of boulders in the base of this steep canyon. Eventually we opted to follow a game trail up and out of that maze of slippery rocks. The picture of that 'elephant' rock is near the top of the canyon wall along a game trail and the trail goes right through it! I could walk through it without bending over at all!
