I went hiking below Cathedral Peak in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness on my way to Bellingham. I had to drive past Roslyn (site of the filming of one of my favorite TV shows, Northern Exposure) then down a 13 mile rutted dirt forest road. It was a very nice hike but I had to turn around before I got to views of the peak.
